Ha ha!

*ploing*

A week of stuffs to update, so here we go. Spent Sunday sleeping for most of the part, before waking to pack my bags to go home. Went into town briefly with Kim to do some last minute shopping, and then went to Nandos with Wendy and people to celebrate her birthday. Had a really nice meal :D Went over to DBS to leech some files, said goodbye to kim, and went home to sleep.

Got up at 0500 on Tuesday, finished packing, an got picked up by Dad. Went into London, and spent the day there, shopping and looking around and stuff. Left around 1600, and got home by 1800.
Weds was spent mostly playing Prince of Persia: Sands of Time. My sister wanted me to do a little bit of the game for her, and I ended up playing half of the game 0:) Also read Feet of Clay.

Thursday was spent lazing about, and also popped into Southampton for a bit, and then came home to read more, and play more Prince of Persia.
Met up with Dave and Cathy in the evening, and Dave had some surprising/shocking/scary news: He's getting married. It's so scary, but really cool at the same time. I hadn;t seen either Cathy or Dave for a very long time, and it was great to spend time with them, reminiscing, etc.

Today, I've done nothing much, so far. I'll probably end up completing Prince of Persia, or something :p

It's been nice to be back home again, having a break from doing stuff.

Wow

S'been the busiest weekend EVER.

Spent Friday afternoon/evening watching movies (Identity, and The Bourne Identity), and watched The Bourne Supremacy first thing on Saturday morning with Kim. Spent most of Saturday running around town getting stuff sorted for the Secret Santa/Xmas Parteh at DBS, before actually having the party.

Was an awesome evening, and the Secret Santa worked very, very well; I think everyone was happy with their presents, and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. Had some rather deep discussions later on in the evening, too, which was all good :)

Woke up late this morning, and ran home for a brief shower and dropped to drop stuff off before heading into London for the Muse concert. Coach journey there was very hot, and read for most of it. Had a h00000ch KFC (yummy), and met folks at Earls Court station. Queue was virtually non-existant, and go to our seats by 1830. Soul Wax played 1900-1930 (OK), The Zoltans played 2000-2030 (Good), and Muse played 2100-2230 (MUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUSE!!!!!)

Awesome concert. And I got to meet zeeb too (can't be bothered/don't know how to do the lj user thingy), which was awesome, even if it was very briefly.

Just got to the coach in time, and spent a pleasant journey back looking over/editin the photos I took at the concert, and then read more. Seemed to take no time at all.

Just got back now, and I've uploaded the Muse photos from Earls Court to http://www.nebhead.com/uni/photopage.html?museearlscourt
They aren't all that good: better photos can be found at http://www.nebhead.com/travel/roskilde/browser04.html , from Roskilde, where they played during the summer (Select "Muse" from the drop down box, and click "Next")

So yeah. Awesome time, and I love Kim muchly (She paid for me to go to Muse, and got me an UglyDoll for Christmas!!! :D:D:D:D:D)

I shall now sleep.

Happy

I've had a really good few days. Didn't do all that much on tuesday evening, and watched loooooads of Babylon 5 yesterday; Finished the first season, and it rocks \o/

Also went out for curreh yesterday, first time I've been out with folks to the pub in quite a while, and I really, really enjoyed it. I had a really good evening :)

Food

My breakfast this morning consisted of 2 jam filled doughnuts, and lunch was a tube of Sour Cream and Onion Pringles and a box of After Eights.

Normally, I wouldn't consider a curry to be all that healthy a meal, but I think tonight it'll be something of an improvement on todays diet.

I know what I did last weekend...

Thursday was incredibly an incredibly productive day. I went up to Uni first thing for the UCAS open day, and showed more potential students around. After that, I sat down and bashed away at the Occam assessment until I had finished it (apart from it deadlocking right at the very end). I then went home, grabbed some food, and headed over to DBS to watch Babylon 5 with Kim. I love that programme :D

Friday was a fairly lazy day. Met Dave and Bill in town, and meant to go up to uni, but kinda ended up not going :P Spent a nice afternoon wandering around town with Dave and Bill, and did some shopping.
Popped home briefly to pick up my laptop, and the cycled over to DotCafe, where the LAN party got kicked off.

Spent the whole weekend there, and it was a really, really enjoyable time. Played loooooads of games, and my laptop held up well with them all. Got 0wned most of the time, but my FPS skills improved over the weekend.
I'm looking forward to the next one, hopefully happening at the end of the second term.

Got home from the LAN at about 4am on Monday morning, and just collapsed into bed. Woke up at 12, and ran into uni for 1300 for a group meeting. Went home after that, showered, ate, and came over to DBS for a pleasant evenings m00ching.

Was gonna go up to Uni today for a seminar, but just couldn't be bothered. That's uni over for this term \o/

I'm back :D

First things first... laptops are awesome. I just love playing games on the train, and have everyone around me watching. I <3 my laptop :D:D

The train journey up to Cheltenham was nice an uneventful; As well as playing games on my laptop, I read Interesting Times (well, most of it). Walked out of Cheltenham Station, and went for 15 mins in thw wrong direction; turned around and went back to the station to find my hotel place literally 30 seconds away. Not impressed with myself.

Got my room, settled in a little, and then went out and got a h000000ch burger for my dinner, then went back and finished reading Interesting Times. Went to bed at about 1030 (had to be up at 7am :S), but kept on waking up during the night.

I actually did get up at 7 ok, had a shower and stuff, ate breakfast (Full English \o/), then put on my suit, and realised I had forgotten my tie. Whoops.

Got to my interview on time, although there was a bit of a wait at the security clearance desk. Dealt with documentation, gave a sample of hair for the drugs test, and had my interview.

The interview went very, very well, as far as I can tell. I hadn't really prepared for it, and hadn't really thought about what questions I would be asked, and I think I did fairly well. Being Project Manager for the Group Project at Uni certainly helped me with a lot of stuff.

Anyway, finished my interview at around 1030, went back to my room, changed out of my suit, and came home. The trip back was long, with endless delays, but I finally got back about half an hour ago. And I'm starving hungry.

Oh, and yay for being up early tomorrow morning for UCAS day stuffs >.<

Today

Was boring.

Woke up, cooked and ate sausages, went to uni, didn't learn anything (played AvP2 through my UML lecture again), got quite a bit of Group Project stuff sorted, went to electronice, did the CS1 Help Sessions, walked home (listening to Franz Ferdinand and Joss Stone... w00000tness!), did work, watched Spooks (nice episode this time), and here I am now.

I have to travel to Cheltenhame tomorrow, and I was intending to go to uni in the morning to catch the Z, Occam and Algorithms lectures, seeing as I missed them all last week, but it appears that I may need a new suit for the interview on wednesday in cheltenham, so I will probably have to miss the lectures in order to buy a new suit.

Wow, that was a long sentance.

So yeah, no uni for me tomorrow. I really, really shouldn't miss so much stuff... and I should start actually paying attention in lectures too!

Anyway. Wish me luck in my interview :D

rawr

Now then. Where was I.
Oh, right, that's it. Another 11 days without an update.

Right then. See if I can remember what I'v been up to over the last two weeks...

Thursday: Went up to campus to get some stuff done, and went swimming by myself before coming over to DBS. Some people went out for curry at spoons, but Kim came back early and I cooked her a curry myself. Watched some Star Trek and generally had a nice night in.

Friday: Went up to campus for lectures, and stayed on campus all day for Magic in the evening. First time I'd been for a while, and it was alright... didn't really do the whole dancing thing. Went back to DBS with Kim on the NightBus.

Saturday: Was a really social day; Subway, general townage, pizza hut, and Secret Santa and other stuff at DBS.

Sunday: Went back home, and jibbled about, reading and playing some more FF7

Monday: At uni all day. Had a group meeting, and sorted out a bit of stuff. Had the first of the CS1 Help Sessions, and had fun explaining Proof by Induction. Headed back home, and spent the evening watching Spooks and reading more Terry Prattchet.

Tuesday: Woke up feeling ill, and with a reeeally sore back, so I spent most of the day in bed. Felt a lot better after it, and got a lot of work done too.

Wednesday: Slept a little bit better, but not much. Read more Prattchet, and then headed over to DBS for Due South watchage. It was the #cs meet in Mungos in the evening, but stayed in with Kim instead, and mooched about.

Thursday: Got up very early (8.30 :P) and headed up to campus to give UCAS tours. Was really quite good, and enjoyed showing people about. After that, I did the proof assessment, and [EDIT: Thanks Tiggs ;D] went home briefly before heading back out to Tiggs b'day party at Cafe De China, which involved eating waaaaay more Chinese food than was probably healthy for me. Very, very nice though. Headed over to C4 with everyone for a little bit, and then went home.

Friday: Fun day today. Met Kim at 11 with the intention of going up to uni, but convinced her to spend the day in town instead. Spent the afternoon wandering around town with Kim, looking at stuff, and spending money. Bought myself a hat, scarf and a pair of gloves, all of which were really funky. Went back to DBS and watched Shaun of the Dead, and some more ST:TNG S3.

Saturday: Went back into town, and got a better idea of what to get people for Xmas. Kim bought Babylon 5 S1, and we went home and watched the first 4 episodes. Spent the rest of the evening doing some online shopping with Kim.

The last few days have been really nice, spending lots of time with Kim, and spending money. It's all good ^_^
