Party fun!

Yesterday was spent browsing about on the net looking for computer bits for the computer I hope to build soon... came to £1200 for a machine with two 17" TFT's, a AMD64 3000+, 1GbRAM, 9800Pro gfx, 250Gb SATA HD, etc etc. Now I know what I'm getting, I just need to get the money :P

Read some more of the Books of Magic. I was gonna give them to Becky, cos she's asked for them, but I haven't read them through properly in ages, and now I have the complete set, that's what I'm gonna do :D (Sorry Becky, you can have them after I've finished :D)

Went to Bel's in the evening, for a nice relaxed evening of drinkage. Not much happened, except Dave getting thoroughly sat on. Was nice to see everyone again, as I hadn't properly since I had come back from my various travels.

Walked back via Subways, and came back to dbs with Kim... getting there at the same time as Mike and Jen who had taken a taxi back :D

Today is a blue day, and I refuse to stay inside more than I have to. We'll be meeting Chris at 1430, and hopefully another party thing will happen tonight.

Maybe I should just relax and chill out a little bit, but I find it really, really irritating the way in which everyone in general seems unable to timekeep.

We were supposed to be at Sainsbury's at 1930. I only found out at just before 1900, and needed a shower, etc, so I came to IRC at 1925 to try and catch people to tell them I would be late. Had people left? Nooo.. everyone was still sat in front of their computers, IRC'ing away. I suggest meeting at 2000 then, and everyone says that that would be a much better idea. I leave at 1940, cos it takes me 20 mins, and after 10 mins I walk past the bottom of dbs road. I phone ahead to meet them, and I'm told they're just leaving. 10 mins later, after I've walked up to see what's happening, they actually leave the house.

And it's not the first time either.

Now, I know it's not a big deal, but it frustrates me. And I know that big groups are naturally just slower at doing things than individual people, and that it's not really _anyone's_ fault.

But is it really too difficult to be on time? really?

Anywho, rant over, and I expect to be told to just chill, relax, etc etc.
